The Foor Family | Fall Minis in Harper’s Ferry
Harpers Ferry is pure magic this time of year — the mountains draped in those rich, moody tones of peak fall foliage, the air crisp but golden. It’s easily one of my favorite spots for sessions, and I’m offering my last round of ‘Fall Minis’ of the season here through November 19th with flexible time slots for families who want to sneak in one last round of autumn photos before the holidays.
The Foor family joined me at this scenic overlook for their very first professional photo session (which, by the way, always feels like such an honor to me). Morgan mentioned ahead of time that her girls weren’t the biggest fans of having their photos taken — but you’d never know it. These two were absolute naturals in front of the camera, full of personality and joy. They laughed, danced, threw leaves like confetti, and turned what could’ve been a meltdown mini session into the sweetest, most playful memory.
I always say that the best photos happen when kids forget the camera is even there — and the Foors were the perfect example of that. Between the light breeze, the mountain glow, and two little sisters having the time of their lives, it was one of those sessions that perfectly captured the heart of fall family photos: unposed, unfiltered, and full of love.
